2 Georgia receivers reportedly enter NCAA transfer portal

An incredible number of players are entering the NCAA transfer portal this week, and the Georgia Bulldogs have been affected by that exodus.

Per reports, the Dawgs are expected to lose a pair of wide receivers to the transfer portal.

Those 2 receivers are junior Trey Blount and redshirt freshman Makiya Tongue, according to 960 The Ref:

Blount was a member of the 2017 recruiting class. He was a 4-star receiver, the No. 48 receiver in the class and the No. 33 overall recruit from the state of Georgia, per the 247Sports composite rankings. In his time at Georgia, he has recorded 4 total catches for 52 yards.

Tongue was a member of the 2019 class. He was a 4-star athlete — the No. 9 athlete in the class and the No. 12 overall recruit from the state of Louisiana, per the 247Sports composite. Tongue saw action in 3 games in 2019.
