Adam Anderson to be released on bond, faces second rape allegation, per report
Adam Anderson, the star edge rusher for Georgia’s defense, was arrested on a rape charge earlier this month.
He’s been in jail ever since, but he’ll reportedly be released on Wednesday on $25,000 bond.
Additionally, per Georgia insider Marc Weiszer, a second woman is accusing Anderson of rape, dating back to 2020:
Breaking: Georgia LB Adam Anderson will be released on $25,000 bond on rape charge. A second “victim B” came forward to allege he raped her in 2020. Anderson can finish UGA classes this semester, then will have to live at home in Rome. Attorney doesn’t expect him to play in 2021.

Per Weiszer’s tweet, Anderson will be allowed to finish his semester of classes, but then will have to live at his home in Rome, Georgia. He’s not expected to return to the field this year.
We’ll see what the next step is in this legal case, but Anderson is facing some serious charges and a new allegation, as well.
