Brock Bowers is entering the 2024 NFL Draft following a historic career at Georgia.

Bowers announced on Tuesday that he will forego his remaining eligibility to begin his pro career. He leaves behind a tremendous legacy that includes back-to-back Mackey Awards as the nation’s best tight end. Bowers also helped UGA win back-to-back national championships in 2021 and 2022.

“Words cannot describe how thankful I am for that these last 3 years has brought,” Bowers wrote in-part. “It has been an unbelievable honor and privilege to play for this university. It has given me memories that will last a lifetime.”

Bowers had a historic career in Athens. He departs UGA with 175 catches for 2,538 yards and 26 touchdowns in his career. He still won the Mackey Award in 2023 despite being limited to just 10 games this season due to injury.

Bowers is expected to be a high pick in the 2024 NFL Draft. The draft will be held from April 25-27 in Detroit.
