Carson Beck is running it back one more season.

In an announcement shared by the Georgia program on social media, Beck announced that he would return to quarterback the Bulldogs in 2024.

“My friends and family have helped put me in a situation to have options for my future,” Beck said. “However, the NFL can wait one more year. I am returning to UGA for my senior season. We need everyone’s support in Miami to close this season out the right way!”

This came one day after Beck at a charity event said he would play in the Orange Bowl, but was undecided about 2024, as there was a report that he was asking for $4 million from NIL/collective to return. Now he’s made it clear.

Beck’s decision gained more importance after backup Brock Vandagriff entered the transfer portal, and committed to Kentucky in recent weeks.

Beck this season started all 13 games and ranks 4th nationally in passing yards (3,738) and 6th in completion percentage at 72.4%.
