Many people have weighed in on who should be the starting quarterback for Georgia ahead of the Kentucky game.

On one hand, you have JT Daniels who is nursing a lat injury from earlier in the year. On the other, you have Stetson Bennett who has proven he can take over when needed. Now, former Georgia Bulldog David Pollack, who was a defensive end at Georgia from 2001 to 2004, has weighed in.

Pollack joined “The Chuck Oliver Show” to talk about which quarterback should start in his eyes.

“It’s not debatable for me,” said Pollack. “I’m on the Mailman train. Have been for awhile. Who was the last team before Texas A&M to have a lead over Alabama? That was Stetson Bennett’s Georgia Bulldogs in the third quarter last year.”

Pollack also gave his thoughts about how both Daniels and Bennett into the program. Daniels came in as a five-star recruit, while Bennett was a walk-on who re-joined as a JUCO transfer from Jones County Junior College.

“The problem is, no stars,” said Pollack. “The problem is walk-on. The problem is five stars the other guy. If a CEO comes from Microsoft to work at a startup company, immediate credibility because he was at Microsoft. If he comes from a company nobody’s ever heard of it’s like, how good is this dude? You’ve kinda gotta prove yourself.”

We’ll see who the Bulldogs go with on Saturday. No. 1 Georgia and No. 11 Kentucky meet at 3:30 p.m. ET on CBS.
