Eason spent two years at Georgia. He was not named the starter in 2016, but ended up in the role after taking over for Greyson Lambert against North Carolina. He started the rest of the season after, ending the year with 2,430 yards passing, 16 touchdowns and 8 interceptions.
Eason was named the starter the following season, but lost the job following an early knee injury. Jake Fromm took over in his absence and later led the Bulldogs to the 2018 National Championship game. Eason transferred to Washington at the end of 2017.
