George Pickens adds insane highlight-reel sideline grab to crucial first-half performance
George Pickens is lighting it up in one of his best performances for the Pittsburgh Steelers. Entering halftime, he already has a touchdown and added another highlight-reel grab against the Cincinnati Bengals.
Facing a 3rd-and-15 with under 2 minutes to go, Pittsburgh’s Mason Rudolph took a shot down the sideline. Pickens was there, somehow elevating to meet the ball and contorting his legs to get both feet inbounds.
The play would go to a booth review, but it was confirmed as a big-time pickup of 44 yards. Check it out:

Though the Steelers have been in control all the way, the catch by Pickens was important to the drive. Pittsburgh would kick a field goal to end the half for a 24-0 lead over the Bengals.
Pickens has a big hand in that lead. He has 3 catches for 129 yards and a touchdown entering the break, including an 86-yard lightning bolt to open Saturday’s scoring.
