George Pickens 'confident' he's a first-round WR, sets target time for 40-yard dash
George Pickens is one of the more intriguing wide receiver prospects in the 2022 NFL Draft.
He suffered an ACL injury prior to the 2021 season at Georgia, and was unable to return until late in the Bulldogs’ title-winning campaign.
But, when he’s healthy, there’s no denying Pickens’ talent. At the NFL Combine on Wednesday, Pickens said there’s no doubt in his mind he deserves to be a first-round pick:

As for his goal in the 40-yard dash, Pickens named a time that would certainly boost his draft stock:

In 2021, Pickens appeared in 4 games for the Bulldogs, recording 5 catches for 107 yards. But, in the 2 seasons prior, he combined for 85 catches, 1,240 yards and 14 touchdowns.
