Two-quarterback systems don’t often end up working out for the best. Sometimes, when 1 guy has the hot hand, you should just let him keep working his magic.

Georgia doesn’t exactly have a 2-quarterback system, but for some reason, on Saturday night against South Carolina, Stetson Bennett IV came on in relief of starter JT Daniels late in the first quarter.

Daniels had already led the Bulldogs on 2 touchdown drives. Bennett came in and promptly threw an interception:

Bennett had a great game against UAB last week in relief of Daniels, who was injured. But, halting Daniels’ momentum to get Bennett into the game was a strange call by coach Kirby Smart.

Naturally, Georgia fans and media had plenty to say about it on social media:

We’ll see if Bennett gets any additional playing time as this game goes on.
