Georgia suffered a big loss on the recruiting trail on Sunday morning.
The Bulldogs lost a commitment from 4-star cornerback Tae Harris out of the class of 2025. He had been committed to Georgia since June of 2023.
He shared his decision with On3’s Hayes Fawcett:

Harris is a big loss for Georgia in the class of 2025. He’s the No. 221 overall player and the No. 27 cornerback in the country for that cycle, per 247Sports Composite rankings. He’s also the No. 28 player from the state of Georgia.
He attends Cedartown High School in Cedartown, Georgia. He’s listed at 5-foot-10, 180 pounds.
Other programs have continued to recruit Harris despite his long-standing pledge to Georgia. In the month of January alone, Harris has received offers from programs such as USC, Oklahoma, Kentucky, Florida and others.
Georgia is now down to 6 commits in the class of 2025. The group sits at No. 6 nationally, per 247Sports Composite rankings.
