Georgia QB Jake Fromm became one of the main storylines of Saturday’s portion of the NFL Draft. Fromm’s free fall ended when the Buffalo Bills selected him in the fifth round.

In speaking with Buffalo media, Fromm was described as energetic as he explained how he was ready to join the organization. Fromm said he was excited and blessed, and “couldn’t be any more grateful.”

While there were questions about Fromm’s height and arm strength, Fromm beat all of Georgia’s rivals each multiple times and had a 36-7 record overall.

“My entire career I’ve kind of been the guy left out, the guy unseen… for me it’s just getting to work… I’m excited to get to do that at this level,” Fromm said.

While Josh Allen is fully entrenched as the Bills starter, Fromm will likely compete with Matt Barkley to be the Buffalo backup QB.
