The Florida Gators hammered the Georgia Bulldogs Saturday 44-28 in Jacksonville.
UGA jumped on UF 14-0, but after that, it was all Gators. If not for the initial 75-yard touchdown run by Zamir White and a Kyle Trask pick-six, Georgia wouldn’t have even been in the game.
Gators quarterback Kyle Trask threw for a career high and a Florida program record 474 yards against Georgia. He also threw for for 4 touchdowns, setting another SEC record.
On the other hand, the Georgia quarterbacks struggled. Starter Stetson Bennett finished just 5-of-16 for 78 yards, 1 touchdown and 1 interception. Backup D’Wan Mathis completed 2-of-10 for 30 yards, 1 touchdown and 2 interceptions.
