Former Georgia DB Deandre Baker was the No. 30 overall pick in the 2019 NFL Draft, going to the New York Giants.
Now, he’s got a big rookie contract and is getting ready to embark on his first pro season, where he’ll be counted on to help the struggling Giants rebuild.
With his first contract, he had a big surprise for his mom. As you can see below, he bought her a brand-new car and gave it to her, posting the pics on Instagram:
Baker will compete for a starting job right away this fall, so we’ll see what he can make of himself in the NFL.
With this surprise for his mom, though, it’s clear he has his priorities in order with his newfound wealth.
