While he’s publicly been committed to Alabama for months, Quay Walker finally ended his college recruitment Wednesday by announcing his decision to attend Georgia.

Walker made the announcement in spectacular fashion, picking up at Tennessee hat before throwing it and revealing his true choice of Georgia.

If there was any doubt that Georgia was going to finish with the nation’s No. 1 ranked recruiting class, Walker likely just ended all speculation suggesting otherwise. Georgia also added elite prospects Tyson Campbell and Otis Reese Wednesday.

The 6-foot-4, 236-pound linebacker from south Georgia announced his decision after considering Tennessee, Georgia, Alabama, and Auburn. The 2018 Under Armour All-American is rated as the No. 2 outside linebacker in the nation by 247Sports Composite Rankings. During the last two seasons, Walker racked up 172 tackles, 28 tackles-for-loss, 9 sacks and 4 fumbles.
