NFL players and media have been quick to show their support for Nick Chubb after he suffered what appeared to be a gruesome leg injury on Monday night.
The injury occurred early in the 2nd quarter of the Browns’ game in Pittsburgh. Chubb was tackled awkwardly near the goal line and had to be carted off the field.
ESPN declined to show direct replays of the injury.
Here’s video of Chubb being carted off:

Chubb is in the midst of his 6th NFL season out of Georgia. He’s a 4-time Pro Bowler who has long been considered one of the best running backs in the NFL.
Last season, Chubb played in all 17 games for the Browns and rushed for a career-high 1,525 yards and 12 touchdowns.
This injury, if it’s as serious as it appears, would be devastating for both Chubb and the Browns. Chubb was a 2nd round pick out of UGA back in 2018.
Here’s some of the reaction from NFL players, media and fans on Monday night:
Just the worst feeling.
Gutted for Nick Chubb.
Hope Minkah is ok.

Najee Harris was right with Nick Chubb as he was carried on to the cart. The fraternity of running backs got even tighter this offseason with the conversation around RB compensation. Got to be a tough thing to see.
