Nick Chubb placed on IR by Cleveland Browns after suffering injury on Sunday
The Cleveland Browns picked up an exciting win over the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday afternoon, but the victory came with a cost.
Star RB Nick Chubb — the former Georgia running back — was injured when a Dallas defender rolled up on his leg during a play.

Now, the Browns have announced via their team website that Chubb has been placed on injured reserve. This year, IR only means you have to miss 3 games before returning.
Don’t expect him to return when 3 weeks are up, though. Per NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport, Chubb is expected to miss about 6 weeks and could return in November:

Chubb had 335 rushing yards at the time of his injury, good for second in the NFL. He was tied for second in the league with 4 rushing touchdowns.
His loss will hurt the Browns, but it does sound like he can come back in time for the stretch run.
