High school All-American, 4-star cornerback Nyland Green announces his commitment
One of the nation’s highest-ranked uncommitted prospects just ended his recruitment.
With the start of the Early Signing Period just over a week away, it begins on Wednesday, Dec. 16, Nyland Green has made his decision, he’s staying home to play for Kirby Smart’s Georgia program.
The 6-foot-2, 183-pound Newton High School standout from Covington, Ga., announced his decision on Tuesday during a live commitment ceremony on CBS Sports HQ. Green picked Georgia over Alabama, Clemson, Florida and Tennessee.
Green is rated as a four-star prospect, the nation’s No. 5 cornerback prospect and a top 70 overall recruit nationally in the 2021 recruiting cycle by 247Sports Composite Rankings. Green was also selected to play in the 2021 Under Armour All-American Game before the event was canceled due to COVID.
