Now that the Georgia Bulldogs are done with spring practices, their 2018 depth chart is starting to take shape.

That depth chart apparently wasn’t to the liking of redshirt junior OL Pat Allen, as he announced he was transferring from the program on Tuesday night.

Allen’s Twitter account is private, but according to OnlineAthens.com, he made the following announcement:

“After careful consideration and careful talks with my family and my coaches,” Allen wrote on his personal Twitter account, “it’s with pain in my heart that I inform you all and DawgNation that I will be transferring and opening my recruitment from the University of Georgia.”

Allen started the season opener last year, but was quickly replaced by Kendall Baker for the rest of the 2017 campaign.

Allen was a former 4-star prospect. He has yet to announce where he’ll play next.
