Georgia tight ends coach John Lilly may be a part of the NFL’s first franchise in Los Angeles since 1994.

Sources have told ESPN’s Adam Caplan that Lilly has been hired by the Los Angeles Rams. Lilly has served as the Bulldogs tight ends coach since 2008, while adding the title of offensive special teams coordinator in 2014.

If the sources are correct, Lilly will be reunited with a pair of former Bulldogs in RB Todd Gurley and LB Alec Ogletree.

In case you missed it, Gurley got a nice reception on Tuesday night during the Georgia-Florida basketball game at Stegeman Coliseum, being recognized for winning the 2015 NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year award.

The Rams are returning to Los Angeles after they and the Raiders moved from the west coast at the same time in 1994.
