What some SEC schools hope to do in a month, Georgia has done in a night.

UGA’s incredible recruiting weekend continues with the third blue-chip commitment in a matter of hours. The latest pledge comes from 4-star OLB Rian “Trouble” Davis out of Wekiva in Apopka, Fla.

Davis, who currently measures 6-3, 233 pounds, is a huge get for Kirby Smart. The 247Sports Composite rates Davis as the No. 5 outside linebacker, No. 7 Florida product and No. 68 overall recruit in the country.

At the time of his commitment, Davis has 41 scholarship offers, including Alabama, Arkansas, Auburn, Kentucky, LSU, Mississippi State and Tennessee.

He joins a loaded Georgia class of almost all 4- or 5-star talent (15 out of 16 commits). UGA’s big night got started with a commitment from 5-star RB John Emery. Later, 4-star ATH Makiya Tongue announced his pledge. Davis makes the third 4-star or higher commitment of the night.

Davis announced his decision in a tweet by sharing a note and two “committed” graphics. His highlights can be seen below.
