Former Georgia running back Sony Michel was helped off the field and carted to the locker room during the first half of the New England Patriots’ game against the Chicago Bears on Sunday.

Michel appeared to have his leg twisted on a play in which he carried the ball, and the broadcasters said Michel injured his knee.

The former Bulldog was questionable to return. There will likely be more updates as the game progresses.

Watch the play on which Michel was hurt below:

Michel is in his rookie season with the Patriots after playing at Georgia from 2014-17. Entering Sunday, he had 400 rushing yards and four touchdowns through New England’s first five games.
