Cedrick Dort Jr. has been a valuable member of the Kentucky secondary rotation since 2017.

However, as he prepares for his final year of college eligibility, he decided to explore his transfer options, entering the portal recently.

On Thursday, it was reported that Dort had chosen a transfer destination. Per Wisconsin insider Evan Flood, Dort is heading north to play for the Badgers in 2022:

A member of the Kentucky Wildcats since 2017, Dort has appeared in 29 games, recording 51 total tackles, 7 pass breakups and a forced fumble.

Now, we’ll see how he fares as a member of Wisconsin’s tough defense this coming season. The Badgers’ defense is led by DC Jim Leonhard.
