Devin Leary has some big shoes to fill at Kentucky with the departure of Will Levis to the pros. However, ESPN analyst Dusty Dvoracek believes the transfer quarterback from NC State will admirably fill the void.

During the “No Huddle” segment of Saturday’s “College Football Live,” Dvoracek named Leary as the biggest impact transfer from this offseason.

The 6-foot-1, 217-pound Leary has passed for 6,807 yards, 62 touchdowns, and 16 interceptions with a passer rating of 139.0 during his 30 games played.

“I’m going Kentucky, Devin Leary,” Dvoracek said. “Look, 2 years ago he was great at NC State. Liam Coen is back as the offensive coordinator (at Kentucky). I think Devin Leary has an impact season there at Kentucky.”

Leary appeared in 6 games last season before sustaining a pectoral injury. Leary is ranked by 247Sports as the No. 2 quarterback and No. 8 overall for 2023 transfers. Leary is also on the watch list for the Johnny Unitas Golden Arm Award.

Leary will make his debut when Kentucky squares off with visiting Ball State on Sept. 2 (12 p.m. ET/SEC Network).
