Vince Marrow probably won’t be getting a Christmas card from Jon Gruden this year. The Kentucky assistant ripped the Las Vegas Raiders over their draft decisions regarding two former Wildcats standouts.

This spring, the Raiders picked former Kentucky standout Lynn Bowden Jr. in the third round of the NFL Draft. Bowden shined at UK as a wide receiver and, last season, running quarterback. The Raiders, however, saw him as a running back. Gruden and Davis gave up on that experiment, making the unconventional move of trading a third-round pick just a week before the season.

Now that Bowden is off the Raiders after Saturday’s trade to the Miami Dolphins, Marrow is speaking his mind.

“Lynn Bowden is one of the best football players I’ve been around he’s not a running back he’s a wide receiver who can make plays. He’s also a very intelligent football player so just remember this is the same team who passed on Josh Allen enough said. Go Big Blue,” Marrow wrote on Twitter.

Hopefully, the versatile Bowden finds a better fit in Miami.
