Kentucky fans, current players ready to move on from OC Eddie Gran after another awful offensive performance
The Kentucky Wildcats went down to Florida and hung tough with the Gators for the first half. Then, the second half was dominated by the home team.
Florida won 34-10, and Kentucky’s offense was once again stagnant, putting up 62 passing yards, 1 TD and 3 interceptions. The rushing attack put up 159 yards and 0 scores on 43 carries, good for only 3.7 yards per rush.
After the game, coach Mark Stoops was visibly frustrated with the offense. Here’s what he said:

Stoops wasn’t the only one who was frustrated. As you can see below, many Kentucky fans directed their ire at OC Eddie Gran:
My number one problem with Kentucky football and has been for the past years is that as soon as we start doing the slightest bit well in the running game Eddie Gran just decides that’s all we can do and won’t pass until it’s 3rd down. Useless

It’s like Saban does the NYT’s Sunday crossword puzzle in permanent marker & Eddie Gran can’t find the right answer key to cheat off of in the back of his Word Search book.

Eddie Gran to any QB UK brings in that could possibly throw the football before they began their career at UK pic.twitter.com/WcBptw8azQ

I’ve been preaching to fire Eddie Gran for years now. He gets bailed out every year by great games (Florida streak end, SC streak, bowl wins, etc) even though his decision making in those games is poor. We’ll see what happens

Me all season:Terry Wilson/Eddie Gran can’t possibly have any worse of a game than this one.

Denver Broncos will be without all 3 QB. Just put Kentucky’s OC Eddie Gran at QB. He’ll run up the middle every time.

Call Eddie Gran. He’s been running an offense without a QB all season. https://t.co/j5xDOpGs6F

I've always been a supporter of Eddie Gran and thought it was foolish to blame everything on him.
My silence during today's game was due to my mouth being full of crow, again.

All I can say at this point is that Eddie Gran better be unemployed by this time next week. https://t.co/fYqQhJIGbw

Current players Quinton Bohanna and Terry Wilson also shared their thoughts on social media:

Things are getting tense in Lexington. We’ll see if changes are made this week.
