A Kentucky football assistant coach is facing multiple charges, including DUI, after an arrest early Saturday morning.

Jon Hale of the Louisville Courier Journal reports that Wildcats wide receivers coach Jovon Bouknight was arrested Saturday by the Erlanger Police Department. The Kenton County Jail website shows that Bouknight was booked into the country jail at 3:56 a.m. on charges of operating a motor vehicle under the influence, possession of an open alcohol beverage container in a motor vehicle and speeding 26 mph or more over the speed limit. He is scheduled to appear in court on May 14.

Per Hale, UK is looking into the arrest:

The university is aware of the arrest and handling the matter internally, according to a statement from a UK spokeswoman.

Bouknight joined Mark Stoops’ staff in March of 2020, arriving from Oregon.
