Kentucky is reportedly set to meet with former Michigan center Hunter Dickinson via Zoom on Wednesday.

That’s according to a report from college basketball insider Jeff Goodman, who notes that Dickinson has been receiving interest from all over the country.

Dickinson surprisingly decided to enter the transfer portal this offseason after finishing his 3rd year at Michigan. He was a consensus All-American for the Wolverines as a sophomore in 2021-22.

This past season, Dickinson scored 18.5 points per game and grabbed a career-best 9 rebounds per contest. A 7-footer, Dickinson is also an imposing presence on defense and averaged 1.8 blocks per game this season.

Dickinson would presumably replace Oscar Tshiebwe, who has not yet announced his plans for the 2023-24 season yet. Thsiebwe, a 2-time All-American, does have 1 year of collegiate eligibility remaining.

Kentucky also lost Ugonna Onyenso to the transfer portal on Wednesday. Daimion Collins remains on the roster for now, but it’s unclear what the rest of the Wildcats’ front court depth will look like next season.

Kentucky does have the No. 1 rated recruiting class in the country for the 2023 cycle, per 247Sports Composite rankings. The class includes 5-star center Aaron Bradshaw.
