Lynn Bowden knew almost instantly that Christopher Rodriguez had a 64-yard TD
Lynn Bowden did his best “Lane Kiffin” on Saturday in Lexington.
The Florida Atlantic coach would memorably signal touchdown on the Alabama sidelines when as Crimson Tide offensive coordinator he would see certain UA receivers, such as Amari Cooper, get a step on the defender at the start of a deep route. Bowden and the Wildcats barely threw the ball on Saturday, but the versatile athlete still got to do his best early TD signal.
SEC Network analyst Cole Cubelic noticed Bowden signal touchdown early on the 64-yard TD run by Christian Rodriguez. In the video below, Bowden puts his arms up before Rodriguez crosses the original line of scrimmage.

It was a record-breaking day for Bowden and the Wildcats on the ground in the 45-13 win over rival Louisville. UK gained 521 yards of total offense, with 517 of those being net rushing yards. Bowden had 284 rushing yards, a single-game record for SEC QBs, on 22 rushes. Rodriguez finished with 125 rushing yards on 9 carries.
