Mark Stoops compared to Axl Rose as photo of Guns N’ Roses lead singer goes viral

Mark Stoops is the coach of the Kentucky Wildcats and is doing a great job, having just led the team to a 10-win season in 2021.

But, does Stoops secretly moonlight as a rock star? Well, after a photo of Guns N’ Roses lead singer Axl Rose went viral this week, it’s worth asking that question.

The below photo of Rose, shared by Kentucky Sports Radio producer and personality “Shannon The Dude” on Twitter, does indeed look a lot like Stoops if Stoops had more hair:

Stoops was apparently asked about the resemblance to Rose and had a great response:

Mark Stoops just called Max Duffy "butt wipe" on the radio. They need a sitcom.

Also doesn't deny that he looks like Axl Rose.

Axl Rose is a member of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Perhaps one day, Stoops will be enshrined in the College Football Hall of Fame.
