Mark Stoops says his issue with John Calipari has been resolved.
On his Monday radio show, Stoops said the two Wildcats head coaches are back on good terms.
“There’s no issue at all,” Stoops said, per 247Sports. “I don’t think either of us have really spent much more time worrying about that or thinking about that. I want nothing but the best for him and all of our programs, and I know he feels the same way. We move on in about two minutes.”
In one of the most surprising stories of the SEC offseason, there was a recent back-and-forth between the Kentucky head coaches. When discussing the need for a new practice facility, Calipari called Kentucky a basketball school. Stoops quote-tweeted Calipari’s words and fired back.

Calipari later told reporters that he “said the wrong thing.” It’s good to see that the 2 Cats coaches were able to hash things out.
