Ray Davis is a huge addition for the Kentucky Wildcats, becoming the next in a long line of talented Kentucky running backs after transferring from Vanderbilt this offseason.

He’s absolutely dominating Florida on Saturday afternoon. In the first quarter along, he finished with 7 carries for 141 yards and 2 touchdowns.

That second touchdown was a thing of beauty, too. As you can see below, Davis took a handoff 75 yards to the house, showing off blazing speed:

That run was a career long for Davis, to boot. Kentucky ended the first quarter with a 16-0 lead over the Gators after missing the extra point following Davis’s 75-yard run.

Fortunately for the Wildcats, the kicker tracked down the cornerback who recovered the blocked extra point to keep the Gators off the board.

It seems like the Wildcats will continue to feed Davis the ball as this game goes on. Can the Gators slow him down, or will he continue to run freely?
