Following six seasons in Indianapolis working as a defensive assistant for the Colts, Brad White is headed to Lexington.

Mark Stoops has filled his 2018 Kentucky staff by adding the NFL veteran as his 10th assistant, according to Nick Roush of Kentucky Sports Radio. White was outside linebackers coach for the last three seasons in Indianapolis. At this point, his specific role in Lexington is unclear.

Before landing the outside linebackers job in Indianapolis, White served as assistant linebacker coach and defensive quality control for the Colts.

During his tenure with the Colts, White coached linebackers Erik Walden, Robert Mathis, D’Qwell Jackson, Jerrell Freeman, Akeem Ayers and Trent Cole, among others.

White is a graduate of Wake Forest. He played three seasons at linebacker for the Demon Deacons and registered 227 tackles, 19 tackles-for-loss and four sacks during his college career.
