For the past two years, Kentucky LB Josh Allen has been one of the SEC’s top pass rushers, recording seven sacks each season.

He likely would have gotten some interest from NFL teams in the 2018 Draft, but he’s decided to finish what he’s started in Lexington.

On Monday afternoon, Allen announced on Twitter that he was going to return to Kentucky for his senior season in 2018, as you can see below:

That’s great news for coach Mark Stoops and the Kentucky defense, as Allen is an integral part of the Wildcats’ improved defensive unit.

If he turns in another outstanding season in 2018, he’ll only help his draft stock improve, as now teams will be hungry for a chance to select him in the 2019 NFL Draft.
