Despite not having a quarterback to put on the field for over half of the season, Kentucky managed to win eight games last season.

With the Wildcats returning a roster full of experience and playmakers on both sides of the ball, Mark Stoops program is in position to surprise once again in the SEC East but the fate of the team may rest on the shoulders of Terry Wilson.

Last year’s starting quarterback entering 2019, Wilson was lost for the season during Kentucky’s second game, a home matchup against Eastern Michigan. Wilson suffered a torn patellar tendon in the game and was scheduled to be sidelined for spring football in Lexington, according to Mark Stoops, before camp was eventually canceled prematurely due to the coronavirus.

Despite not participating in spring practice, Wilson continues to work hard to return to the field better than ever. Keep in mind, Wilson was Kentucky’s starter for the program’s 10-win season and was instrumental in the Wildcats’ win at Florida back in 2018.

To show off the progress he continues to make as he rehabs from his tough injury, Wilson shared the video below.

If you listen carefully, you can hear a voice note that Wilson is running with 90 percent body weight on the treadmill.
