Original post: Sunday is a potentially life-changing day for 15-year-old LSU superfan Jarrius Robertson.
The New Orleans native has battled biliary artesia, a liver disease that slows his growth, but today he is receiving a liver transplant. Robertson’s father, Jordy, posted to Twitter and Facebook sharing the big news, according to WWL CBS 4 New Orleans.
“We finally got our hero,” Jordy wrote. “As a parent, I prayed for this day, that this day would come. So I need everyone to lift us up in prayer, to pray with us.”
Jarrius has been a familiar face around the LSU program. He has recently taken part in Tiger Walk and been on hand for Pro Day. When he’s not in Baton Rouge, there’s a good chance you can catch him hanging out with the New Orleans Saints and cheering on his favorite pro team.
We hope the best for Jarrius, and can’t wait to see him back at Tiger Stadium.
