LSU is heavily favored to win its home matchup against Arkansas on Saturday, but it will be without two key contributors for the game.

During his Thursday press conference, Tigers head coach Ed Orgeron announced that tackle Austin Deculus and safety Grant Delpit will not play against the Razorbacks. Deculus missed last week’s game vs. Ole Miss after suffering an injury in the Alabama game, while Delpit has been dealing with an ankle injury.

Deculus, a junior, has played in nine of LSU’s 10 games this season, starting at right tackle in each of those contests.

Delpit played in each of the Tigers’ first 10 games and has been a key part of their defense. He has 50 tackles, an interception, five pass deflections and a fumble recovery.

These will be big losses for LSU this weekend, but it shouldn’t impact the result of the game. The Tigers will still be a much better team than the Razorbacks, and with home-field advantage, there’s very little chance of an upset occurring.

LSU and Arkansas are set to kick off on Saturday at 7 p.m. ET on ESPN.
