LSU just received more good news when it comes to veteran players set to return for another season as senior linebacker Andre Anthony just committed to suiting up for the Tigers in 2021.

The outside linebacker is coming off his most productive season yet in Batou Rouge as he set new career-highs with 24 tackles and 5.5 sacks for LSU this season. For his entire career, Anthony has 47 tackles and seven sacks.

Anthony’s decision comes after defensive linemen Ali Gaye and Neil Farrell also announced their returns, in addition to starting offensive lineman, Ed Ingram.

These seniors are permitted to return for another season after the NCAA gave all players the option to take a free season of eligibility in 2020.

Any senior that makes the decision to return will not count against the 85-man scholarship limit in 2021.

Anthony announced his decision with the following video.
