The Auburn Tigers embarrassed the LSU Tigers Saturday in Jordan-Hare Stadium 48-11.

It wasn’t even as close as the score indicated. Seriously.

Things got really ugly in the second half, too. Yes, LSU’s offense struggled and turned it over 3 times, but Auburn’s offense — a Chad Morris offense that has struggled all season — knifed through Bo Peilini’s defense like hot butter.

Peilini was hired to replace Dave Aranda, who left LSU for the head coaching job at Baylor.

“We are so much better on defense right now than any part of the season last year,” Orgeron said earlier this year.

First the Mississippi State disaster. Then, the Missouri fiasco, and now, this blowout loss to Auburn.

Auburn racked up over 500 total yards and set a record for the most points scored in history against LSU.
