Brian Kelly shares his message to Myles Brennan after Jayden Daniels transfer

Brian Kelly managed to keep QB Myles Brennan in Baton Rouge after landing the LSU head coaching job this offseason.
But, then Kelly went out and pulled Arizona State QB Jayden Daniels from the transfer portal. What did Brennan think of that move?
During a press conference on Wednesday, Kelly said the starting QB position is wide open and shared his message to Brennan after Daniels’ commitment:
Brian Kelly: "Nobody has a starting position. Go earn it."
On the message to Myles Brennan after taking Jayden Daniels:
"He's worked hard. He's changed his body. He's healthy. He's an outstanding QB. Why can't it be you? And the same thing for Nuss and same thing for Jayden."

LSU’s QB battle, which also includes Garrett Nussmeier, will be one of the more intriguing battles to watch across the entire SEC.
Who will get the start in Week 1 against Florida State? That might not be decided this spring, but the QB competition should still be intense.
