Rated as one of the nation’s highest-rated receiver prospects in the 2021 recruiting cycle, Brian Thomas was originally scheduled to announce his college decision on National Signing Day. However, that deciding to push back his decision, the Louisiana native is ready to declare where he will play his college football.

On Tuesday, during a commitment ceremony at his Walker High School in Walker, La., the four-star receiver announced he will play his college football for LSU.

The 6-foot-4, 185-pound Walker High School standout made his decision another announcing a list of finalists that includes Alabama, Georgia and Texas A&M.

Rated as a four-star prospect and the No. 13 receiver in the country for the 2021 recruiting cycle by 247Sports Composite Rankings, Thomas was selected to compete in the 2021 All-American Bowl before that game was canceled due to COVID.

Thomas also rated as the No. 2 receiver from Louisiana in the current recruiting cycle and a top 100 overall prospect.
