Chris Fowler doesn’t like to talk his predictions for the Heisman Trophy, especially since he interviews the winner at the annual presentation.

“You’re not going to get my ballot out of me,” Fowler said jokingly to Dan Patrick on Monday during the The Dan Patrick Show.

Fowler, though, said, “I don’t know how you can play better” than Tigers quarterback and Heisman candidate Jayden Daniels.

“I don’t know how you can be more impressive as a quarterback than what Jayden Daniels has done at LSU,” Fowler said.

In 11 games so far this season, Daniels has 3,577 passing yards. 36 touchdowns and just 4 interceptions. On the ground, the Tigers’ playmaker has 1,014 rushing yards and 10 TDs.

With LSU sporting an 8-3 record and out of contention for an SEC title, Fowler said Daniels’ season “has been overlooked” since the Tigers aren’t a Playoff team.

As a thrower and runner for LSU, Daniels “has to light up” the Aggies this weekend. Last season, Texas A&M beat LSU by a 38-23 score.

“Take every chance you can get,” Fowler said.

The No. 15 Tigers and Aggies square off at noon Saturday on ESPN.
