Clyde Edwards-Helaire wasn’t going to miss the first practice of the spring.

When the former LSU running back left Baton Rouge, the Tigers were undefeated national champions. Since his departure, things have gone sideways for Ed Orgeron’s program but the Kansas City running back wanted to return to his school to make sure the current crop of players understand the standard set by the players that came before them.

According to Edwards-Helaire, the difference between winning and losing starts with your mindset. When he made it to the NFL, he immediately made an impact with the reigning Super Bowl champions because of the mindset he had coming into the program.

Now he’s teaching that lesson to the Tigers as they prepare for a rebound season in 2021.
