It’s only October and rumors of coaches making moves are already starting, especially with the departure of LSU head coach Ed Orgeron leaving at the end of the season.

It was announced early Sunday that Coach O and LSU mutually agreed to part ways at the end of the year for numerous reasons.

Now, the search is on for LSU’s new head coach and one of the names being floated around is Oregon’s Mario Cristobal.

Cristobal, who was an assistant at Alabama for 3 years, became the head coach of Oregon back in 2017. During his time there, he has won 2 Pac 12 titles and a Rose Bowl and has the Ducks in contention again this year.

Jon Wilner, who covers the Pac 12, hinted that Cristobal may take a look at LSU if contacted.

Cristobal may also be considered for the USC job as well.
