LSU football is on a roll.

Whether it’s on the field beating top 10 teams or landing elite prospects, the momentum in Baton Rouge right now is real.

On Monday, LSU landed its latest commitment from talented in-state wide receiver (who may have the best name in the nation) Decoldest Crawford. Crawford, the 6-1, 160-pound standout from Shreveport. Perhaps now another SEC program will have to land a commitment from “Dewarmest” to one-up LSU. I’m kidding, kind of.

He shared his commitment via social media:

Crawford is currently a sophomore, and he becomes LSU’s second commitment in the 2022 class, joining 4-star DB Bryce Anderson.

So, where did Crawford get his unique first name?

“My mom came up with my name,” Crawford told 247Sports in an interview earlier this year. “She named me this because she knew I would be the best athlete out of everyone in the family.”

Crawford caught 18 passes for 203 yards and three touchdowns last year as a freshman. He attends Green Oaks High School.
