LSU wide receiver Dee Anderson didn’t play in either of the first two games of the season, and the program confirmed that he won’t dress for any of the team’s remaining contests in 2019. The Tigers announced Thursday he has been suspended for the rest of the season.

Coach Ed Orgeron and the Tigers suspended Anderson at the beginning of fall camp because of a “conditioning issue,” but the coach added that he expected Anderson to be fine and return to the team. Apparently that is no longer the case, though, as the wideout is done for the year.

The reason for the suspension or what might the future hold for Anderson after this season is unknown at this time. He was a rising senior before this year, so it’s possible that he’s already played his last college game.

Anderson has posted 27 catches for 392 yards and one touchdown during his college career. Last season, he recorded 20 receptions for 274 yards with a touchdown.

Back in 2016, Anderson came to LSU as a 4-star prospect and the No. 37 ranked wide receiver in the country according to 247Sports Composite Rankings.
