Ed Orgeron says key LSU starting offensive lineman 'very doubtful' for Vanderbilt game
The LSU Tigers are replacing a ton of talent from last year’s national championship squad, including nearly their entire offensive line.
That already resulted in 1 loss this season, as the Tigers dropped a 44-34 decision against Mississippi State in Week 1.
Now, as coach Ed Orgeron’s crew prepares to face Vanderbilt this weekend, they could be down a starting lineman. Per Coach O on his radio show, LT Dare Rosenthal is “very doubtful” for this week’s game:
Ed Orgeron says on his weekly radio show that starting left tackle Dare Rosenthal is "very doubtful." Didn't practice today. Orgeron doesn't think he'll play Saturday.
He said this morning that Cam Wire would start at left tackle if Rosenthal can't play. #LSU

The Tigers already have a backup plan in place, but it’s never easy to lose a starting offensive lineman.
Can the Tigers get in the win column against a Vanderbilt team many consider the worst in the SEC? Even without Rosenthal, the Tigers will still be heavy favorites.
