Ed Orgeron quickly tried to turn attention away from LSU’s 29-0 loss to Alabama after the game as he instead focused on the kind of season the Tigers can still have
Speaking with reporters after the game, Orgeron said the line of scrimmage was the difference.
Alabama QB Tua Tagovailoa was 25-for-42 passing for 295 yards, two touchdowns and one interception. He also had 49 rushing yards and a touchdown.
LSU mustered just 12 rushing yards as Alabama outgained LSU 576 to 196 in total yards.
Does this show how close you are or how far you are?

Orgeron on defense: We fought. They made some plays but we stopped them in the red zone. We fought our tails off. We just didn’t get any help from the offense.

Orgeron says the plan on Cole Tracy’s field foal was to get point and kick onside. Didn’t think LSU could pick up the 4th down because of the distance.
