Alabama’s offense vs. LSU’s defense has been the bloodbath many people were expecting. It has been a terrible night in Baton Rouge for Tigers defensive coordinator Bo Pelini.

Alabama scored touchdowns on its first five possessions of the game. On the sixth, the Crimson Tide offense still scored, but “only” a field goal to make it 38-14. UA “bounced back” on the next possession, scoring a sixth first-half touchdown thanks to an incredible catch by DeVonta Smith.

UA has three in the triple-digit club after two quarters: Mac Jones (338 passing yards), Najee Harris (118 rushing yards) and Smith (219 yards).

Alabama’s dominant night on offense means a rough night of social media mentions for Pelini. There is plenty of pink slip talk, as you can see below:
