Former LSU LB Deion Jones is reportedly on the move.

NFL Media insider Ian Rapoport reports that the Atlanta Falcons have traded Jones to the Cleveland Browns for late-round NFL Draft compensation.

Jones played at LSU for 4 seasons (2012-15), becoming a starter in his senior year. Atlanta selected Jones with the No. 52 overall pick in the second round of the 2016 NFL Draft.

Jones had spent the entirety of his professional career with the Falcons, earning All-Rookie Team recognition in 2016 and a Pro Bowl selection in 2017.

In his Atlanta career, Jones recorded 652 tackles, 8.5 sacks, 11 interceptions, 4 forced fumbles, and 5 fumble recoveries. Jones has yet to play in 2022. By going on injured reserve before the start of the season, he is eligible to return.

Jones signed a 4-year extension with the Falcons ahead of the 2019 season.
