Harold Perkins has been turning heads in the SEC all season. Saturday, the 5-star LSU freshman linebacker helped lead the Tigers to victory over Arkansas with a monster performance in the Battle for the Golden Boot.
Perkins is the Walter Camp Football Foundation’s Defensive Player of the Week for Week 11. The announcement was made Sunday.
In a defensive battle, Perkins was the top defender on the field, recording 8 tackles, including 4 for loss, 4 quarterback sacks, 2 forced fumbles, 1 pass break up and 1 quarterback hurry.
Perkins is the 12th player from LSU to be recognized as a Walter Camp National Player of Week. Tyrion Davis-Price was the last Tiger recognized, picking up the honor on Oct. 17, 2021.
Perkins and the Tigers look to improve to 9-2 on the 2022 season with a win over UAB in Week 12.

Perkins played phenomenal, all over the field. Looking forward to seeing this guy against my pups in ATL, hail of a player...
He earned it.
This man is a nightmare in pads. Congrats to HP40 for this honor, but more importantly... when do we put him on offense?
